Some apps are free, some require a subscription, others allow you to make purchases inside the app. MyTracker analysts have conducted a study and found how the audience changes among different app types, what and how much users are paying for, and whether a device's operating system affects these indicators.
The study is based on the analysis of anonymized data collected from more than 1000 mobile applications integrated with MyTracker. The audience of these apps are mainly users from Russia, USA, Canada, Great Britain and the CIS countries. Operating systems are Android (72%) and iOS (28%).
