How do you earn money from your app? Do you use subscriptions, paid content, or ads? MyTracker gathers all revenue types and helps you check the success of your strategy — calculates ROI, LTV, and ARPU, and shows you stats by traffic sources.
There are four revenue types: in-app payments, subscriptions, ads, and custom revenue.
In-app payments can include selling goods, game currency, new level, and other transactions in the app. It's a one-time purchase characterizing user active interest.
To track in-app payments, configure SDK, and set up payment verification. For more details, refer to the Purchase tracking section.
Subscription implies regular payments for paid content in the app. It may be a monthly magazine, season broadcast, etc. MyTracker also collects trial subscriptions, trial to paid conversions, and renewals.
To track subscriptions, configure SDK, and set up payment verification. For more details, refer to the Subscription tracking section.
Hosting ads in your app is another way to generate revenue. You engage more audience and your revenue increases.
Stats on ad revenue are provided by monetization partners. Therefore you need to connect a Partner account to MyTracker to collect data. For more details, refer to the Ad revenue tracking section.
Custom revenue involves other payment transactions that cannot be sent as ads revenue, in-app payments, or subscriptions. For example, it may be offline purchases or WeChat payments. In other words, it is any revenue for which there is not yet another mechanism for collecting data.
To send custom revenue, use S2S API. For details, refer to the Import payments section.
We do not recommend you upload ad revenue, in-app payments, and subscription as custom revenue, it'll cause data distortions
