Entry points

An entry point is the target URL of an ad campaign for the chosen app. That means the page to which the user will be redirected after clicking on the advertisement.

An app can have multiple entry points: app store pages, landing, and any inside page. The first entry point you specify when adding an application, the next one you can add at any time on the Entry points tab of your app.

Make a list of entry points, so you can select a target link from a ready-made list of URLs when creating your ad campaigns and not waste time searching for the right link.

The VK Mini Apps can have only one entry point — the app page in the VK super app. The URL is generated automatically as soon as the application is added.

Add entry point

  1. From the applications list, select the necessary row and click on the symbol  .
  2. On the Entry points tab click Add.
  3. Fill out the form:
    • Type * (only for mobile app) — Link if an entry point is a page in the app store, or Deep link if it's any inside page.
    • Title * — the name of the entry point which will be displayed in lists.
    • URL * — a target URL, where the user ends up at when following a tracking link.
    • Position — the position of the entry point in the list. Entry points which are used more often should be put at the top of the list, for convenience. It's used when choosing a target URL in tracking links.

    * — required fields.

  4. Click Add.

You can always edit the entry point by clicking the icon  on the Entry points tab. Made changes will not affect already created tracking links and ad campaigns — the used URL will remain unchanged.
