Manufacturer

Mobile device manufacturer (Apple, Samsung, Huawei).

Manufacturers with insufficient stats may be reported as Unknown.

If you are sure there are already events for a particular manufacturer, but do not see it in your reports — contact our support team, we will check the data and add the manufacturer to MyTracker.

Screen width

Device screen width in pixels.

Screen height

Device screen height in pixels.

Screen diagonal

Device screen diagonal in inches.

Screen resolution

Device screen resolution in form "width x height".

OS

Device operation system.

OS version

The version of the device operating system. This is the number in X.Y.Z format (major.minor.patch version).

Use this dimension to group data by the full number X.Y.Z. To view the report by part of the number, use selectors OS major version (X), OS minor version (Y), OS patch version (Z).

OS major version

The major version of the device operating system.

It's defined by the first figure in the version number. For example, the major version in the number 12.1.4 is 12.

OS minor version

The minor version of the device operating system.

It's defined by the second figure in the version number. For example, the minor version in the number 12.1.4 is 12.1.

OS patch version

The patch version of the device operating system.

It's defined by the third figure in the version number. For example, the patch version in the number 12.1 is 12.1.0.

OS timezone

System timezone used on device.

OS language

System language used on device.

Model

Mobile device model (iPhone 6, Galaxy S22 Ultra).

Models with insufficient stats may be reported as Unknown.

Brand mobile network operator

The brand of mobile operator to which the device is connected (CMCC HK, Vodafon India, etc.). The brand name corresponds to an MCC/MNC pair tracked on a device.

Browser

The browser used to open a website / web application

Connection type

Type of connection used by device to connect to the Internet.

Device type

Type of the target device:

  • Smartphones
  • Computers
  • TV sets

Bluetooth

This dimension indicates whether Bluetooth was enabled on device when particular event (launch, update etc.) had occurred.

This dimension only makes sense for Flow metrics

Ad tracking

The setting allowing users to opt-out of personalized advertising:

  • Unknown
  • AD tracking enabled
  • AD tracking disabled

If the AD tracking disabled, the device cannot be tracked by the advertising ID. Users's IDFA and GAID will be blank.

App Tracking Transparency Status

ATT Status determines app-tracking permission:

  • Unknown (no status information)
  • Not determined (before a permission request)
  • Restricted (device does not prompt for tracking permission)
  • Denied
  • Authorized

ATT Status information can be collected if the MyTracker SDK version embedded into the app is 2.1.2 and above.

This dimension is only relevant for apps on the iOS platform, where, starting with iOS 14, tracking data requires user permission. See the Apple documentation

Root/Jailbreak Status

This dimension indicates whether Jailbreak or root access has been detected on the device. Jailbreak refers to the iOS operating system, while root access refers to Android.

The terms "Root" and "Jailbreak" refer to gaining extended rights and control over a mobile device's operating system. The user gains access to settings and features that are not normally available.

Regardless of the operating system, the value Rooted indicates the presence of extended rights, while the value Non rooted indicates their absence.
